Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam released the official notification of NMMS scholarship 2023. There are total 2411 students of Assam will get the NMMS Scholarship. The Eligible candidate’s have to submit their applications from 17 August to 10 October 2023. As per the notification the written exam (OMR) will be held on 18 November 2023.
The central government of India launched the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (N.M.M.S.S) for the every States of India. Through the scheme economically weaker students of Class eight will get financial assistance, so that they can easily complete their further studies.

Eligibilty for NMMS Scholarship:
• Candidates should have get minimum 55% marks in class 8 examination
• Candidates family annual income should be less than Rs. 3,50,000.
NMMS Scholarship Amount 2023:
The selected students will paid Rs 12,000 per year (1000 rupees per month) through the NMMS Scholarship. This is the fixed amount for every candidate.

How To Apply for nmms scholarship?
Step 1: Visit the official website of Directorate of Secondary Education Assam (sebexam.org)
Step 2: After visiting the site go to the latest notification section and click on the NMMS link.
Step 3: Now submit your U-Dise Number that you got from your school and click on the Apply button.
Step 4: After that an application form will be open on your screen, kindly fill the application form correctly with your basic details such as name, scheme name, phone number etc.
Step 5: Now Upload your Signature copy and other documents as required.
Step 6: After completing the process click on the submit button. At the end you have to pay the examination fees through online payment method. (In this way you can register for the NMMS Scholarship.)
