The Ministry of Human Resource Development has launched the Ishaan Uday in 2014 under the University Grants Commission (UGC). Under the scheme total Beneficiaries of 10,000 students will get Benifits per year. Ishan Uday scholarship scheme encourage the economically weaker students for higher studies, So that they will get professional education. The government will give a monthly amount to the scholarship holders every year for complete their degree course. Eligibility Criteria:
•The candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent.
•The candidates must have secured admission in the 1st year of any degree course including integrated courses.
•Transgender students are also eligible for this scheme.
•The candidates family income must not be more than 4.5 Lakh rupees annually.

Step 1: Go to the official Website https://scholarships.gov.in/
Step 2: After visiting the site, Register your account with your correct details.
Step 3: After registration, Now login your account your by your User ID, Password which was sent to your registered mobile number.
Step 4: After successfully login, An application form will be open infront of you. Here complete the application form with your basic, educational and registration details and submit your documents.
Step 5: After completed the process click on the submit button. In this way you can register for the scheme and Don’t forget to print out your application.
Ishan Uday Scholarship amount:
Through this scheme, General Degree courses student will get Rs.5,400/- per month and Technical & Professional courses (including Medical & Para medical courses) student will get Rs.7,800/- per month for their study.
